The Jijamata Udyan is identified by many names including Rani Baug, and also its old identity, Victoria gardens. This is a heaven for tree loving people, as the garden is nothing but a collection of botanical gardens that are sprawled over 48 acres worth of land. Amongst the many highlights of this park are indeed the huge ancient trees, some of which are residing queen- like in the gardens from as long as 200 years. Another beautiful attraction is the renaissance style clock tower that welcomes you at the entrance. Thus, the time stops literally in these huge gardens. Another attraction in this huge park is the grand classic Bhau Dali Ladd Museum identified previously as the Victoria and Albert Museum. The best thing for you to do here is to lounge around on the green turf.
